My name is Audrey. I am a full-time nurse, and I have had my LPN license since 2010. I also work part-time as a staff sergeant in the US National Guard, where I have been a paramedic since 201.
I hope to one day finish my nursing degree, but in the meantime, my main focus is raising my son safely.
I honestly don’t know how I can be of service to the group yet. I am learning and embracing the process and hope to one day bring more to the table.
Growing up in Haiti, I loved the family community and laid back atmosphere. I dreamed of opening a small hotel by the ocean and meeting new people.
The relationship that has impacted me the most is the one I have with my adoptive mother. She is my best friend and she continues to be the best person in my life.
Three things most people don’t realize about me is that I have a very sensitive heart, and I protect myself by quickly withdrawing into myself.
I love to keep my hands busy and my mind disconnected with audio books. Haiti was a wonderful place for my teenage years and gave me a sense of community and family values. Cause it really does take a village to raise children.
Finally, I hope this organization can rekindle my love for Haiti and help me reconnect with my roots.
