US2GETHER Presents: The Pearl Of The Month! Program

Pearls are dainty, pale, shiny, round, and precious objects that effortlessly steal our interest. Since ancient times, pearls linger in our imagination and beliefs. To the extent that most of us believe pearls hold deep meanings, such as purity, balance, and wisdom.

Haiti was once called ‘The Pearl of the Antilles’ thanks to its lush forests and strategic location as a gateway to the Caribbean. We want to show that Haiti continue to support its nickname, especially through it’s people.

Just as the pearl inside an oyster transforms impurities into luminous gems, a closer look at Haiti uncovers the resilience of its people.

At US2GETHER, every month, we celebrate A PEARL. This person represents US2GETHER values and mission.
